SEO-Optimization: What Words to Find You?

Searchability is a critical component to finding work.

I was recently testing how searchable I was on Voice123, typing in keywords that are associated with my voice: easygoing, confident, conversational.

💀 I didn't pop up.

But how? I have done numerous samples and spots that reflect these qualities. I implemented those keywords and checked off the boxes as requested.

‼️ And then I took a look at my competition. I found out I was not utilizing the "additional sample details." I noticed that everyone used this box to generate up to 20-30 different keywords including for tone, spot-usage, intended audience, etc. The moment I started updating my samples with "additional sample details," I tried agian, and I found myself as intended.

But all this time, I didn't even exist on the search results. So how the hell was anyone going to find me?

✨ Respect SEO-optimization, whether its for your pay-to-play account, your website, your Youtube Channel, for anything with a search-engine and database involved. The more keywords you utilize, the more blips you can make on the radar, the easier it will be for the algorithm to recognize you. In turn, the easier it will be for clients to find you.

✨ Never spam, always diversify. Of course with keywords, you want to have a whole litany of adjectives, terms, and genres to increase visibility. It's all about increasing the field-of-view for the search engine, and not just spamming "confident."

SEO-optimization is like gardening. Take the time to plant all your seeds in the ground, go as far and as wide as you can, and soon enough fruit will start to bear. And perhaps in the future, you'll be the tallest tree in the forest.
